Bob Brett’s short tenure as the Lawn Tennis Association director of player development is over.
The Australian has agreed to resign after only 13 months in the job, a decision which had been expected for weeks.
Brett, recruited last year, is believed to have had a difference of opinion with LTA chief executive Michael Downey and has also ruffled feathers with a tough new funding policy.
